Susumu (to proceed) in calligraphy and my name in Japanese

This word is my favourite kanji. This word has many different meanings such as move, proceed, advance, strive and so on. It may only be one word but there are many positive meanings to it. I always keep this word in my soul at all times. In Japan, we get to learn how to hold a brush at school. They teach us how to write these Chinese characters following a predetermined order. I also learned calligraphy for many outside of school because kanji represents the soul of the Japanese identity and the people believe that how you write and draw provide an insight to your personality.

I decided to express in this chosen pattern.
